Company's history

Sustenergy Data was founded by Salim Chitou, an energy engineer with more than eleven years of experience in the development of energy information systems in Africa. He contributed to the regional energy information systems of WAEMU (sie.uemoa.int) and ECOWAS (eis.ecowas.int), and to national systems in Togo (sie-togo.gouv.tg), Nigeria (statistics.energy.gov.ng), Liberia, Senegal, Tanzania and Niger.

He also has expertise in GHG assessment, energy infrastructure mapping and future energy demand planning.
